Dawn of the Dead (2004)

The remake of George Romero's Dawn of the Dead in 2004 directed by Zack Snyder is easily one of the top 5 zombie flicks of all time. Zack of course went on to direct 300, and Watchmen but at this point in his career all he had under his belt was a Morrissey video and a Michael Jordan highlight reel... who knew?!
In the opening of this movie in Sarah Polley comes home to her husband and is awoken early in the morning by the cute little neighbor girl who seemingly had an accident. The little girl comes tearing down the hallway and chomps her husband on the neck and after fighting off the pre-teen terror she is forced to climb out her bathroom window to escape her zombie-fied husband. What comes next is one of the most amazing crane shots of all time. We see her drive through her neighborhood and the camera climbs to the sky to watch her get out to the open road as the mayhem behind her grows.
If you haven't seen this one. Go... now... rent it, buy it, netflix it... whatever you have to do... I'll wait...
