Gay rights is just that: rights. not privileges, not special demands, but rights. Human rights that every person regardless of their sexual persuasion or gender or race should be given automatically. That is not happening for the LGBT population in many countries, but in America, the so-called land of the free, a country that is the first to pass judgment on breaches of civil rights in other lands, it is especially galling.
