Gridskipper: Troll Museum in the LES: No, Not Libation. Another One.

With Libation closing, Lower East Siders may soon acutely feel the lacunae left behind: gaping stretches of sidewalk where once ugly made-up girls smoked Parliaments, liters of air once rife with the commingling odors of cologne, sweat, bravado and drum 'n' bass, a block, that is, without the douches and trolls who flocked to the LES's only super club. Be be not bereft. Tucked into a tenement apartment and open only by appointment, Reverend Jen's troll museum is a snapshot into the world of a downtown celebrity and troll doll freak. Reverend Jen is an elf freak. She is usually found wearing pointy elfin ears, hosting her "anti-slam" open mike and trolling, yes trolling for dudes (at least according to her website which has a form for a potential "Edie to her Andy"). The museum, it should be noted, is also her bedroom which may be creepy but not as creepy nearly as creepy as the legions of Uptown clones trolls who stood outside of Libation.
