Second-hand Bookshops
There is just something so satisfying in buying your books in one of these. I imagine it is a little bit like adopting a puppy. You know, just without the cleaning up. And, I fear, without the cuddling.
Ah well, it does sort of even out, and second-hand bookshops are still fairly nice.

we have a goodwill outlet here with stacks and stacks of books. a grocery bag full of them (ore really whatever you want) is $5 total. i have found some really awesome things there. you should visit me before i die, cause after, it's a bit harder. haha :)
