
an inquiry into the habits, desires, possibilities and beliefs that make up who you are, and an exploration of what's on the other side of them. the postures serve to increase awareness of and familiarity with your body, your mind, and your breath — what you can do with them and didn't know you could. by practicing them you can learn to concentrate on the specific and to control your ever-active mind — to experience reality more directly. to experience what is, vs. your expectations, fears or desires about it and how it measured up, which is different than what it simply is. in what is, there are WAY more possibilities, and it's generally way more interesting.
