I LOVE Tim Gunn. He is so elegant and impeccable and holds himself with great dignity. I discovered Tim, as most of us did, via Project Runway and he remains a CRITICAL part of the show and contestants mentor. Beyond this he has expanded his reach into his own series (need a little re-tooling there) to Oprah and Dr. Oz and more. He is always a gentleman and charming. He explains that no of this wonderful unexpected "fame and recognition" happened to him until after 50. And he never went looking for it! And for my money he seems deserving of his breakthrough success. I believe he is genuine and that he would treat a top designer or contestant or doorman or fan on the street with the same kindness and grace shown on tv.
