i love to shop in all manner of thrift stores, junk shops, rag bins, flea markets & yard sales not only to go to these places like it's my job...it IS my job. ...i've created an entire life out of it, because really, selling on eBay is merely an excuse for me to go thrifting. stumbling across little jewels for my 3D collage box assemblage is always a bonus! i have my fav haunts on both coasts, throughout tx & nm... my heart flutters at the mere sight of a thrift shop... imagine the palpitations when i score a 40s sewing pattern, a 60s day dress, a set of travel souvenir glasses...i bag of mismatched jewelry & watch parts...oh joy! gee-gaws, as my g-pa called them. he collected loads of treasures from garage sales, it's clear that he raised me ;)
