I can't help myself. If a song runs over 10 minutes, or even over 20 minutes, I'm there like a shot. Whether it's "The Dead Flag Blues" by Godspeed You Black Emperor!, or "Mogwai Fear Satan" by Mogwai, or the 18-minute long "Psychological Recovery...6 Months" cue from the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, I just can't help but sit in the dark, with my iPod speakers, listening to a quarter of an hour's worth of musical genius. It's inexplicable. It's inexorable. It's a whole bunch of other things ending in "le." But that's my sickness for you...
