Polaroid Film

I'm a photographer. I picked up a camera in 2002 and I learned on digital. I've always felt I missed something by not shooting film. I can hear thousands of film photographer voices screaming at me right now. I still shoot digital, of course. Anything from a 21 megapixel dslr to a 50 megapixel digital back. Craziness. But I have a longing for the 'old school'. I have a book and project that I'm just about to start. Rather than shooting it all on digital I'm adding a bit of Polaroid, I've decided to document each shoot with a Polaroid or two. I may not use them, but it's good to slow down and think, compose a little. Maybe make a small scrapbook. Why Polaroid/Instant film? Polaroid (RIP) is now gone and Fuji, who are still making their instant film, could change their minds at any time... AND trying to find Fuji B&W film in NYC is nigh on impossible. Late night eBay sessions buying the stuff from far off US states (praying it's been kept properly). It's all in the emulsion. I love Polaroid film. Something different. That's what Polaroid is.
