The New York Jets have always been an obsession of mine both as a fan and historian of the Jets, pro football, old time football videos, and the American Football league. What I'd like to bring to this all, primarily for obsessed J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS fans is an ever growing account of the NY Jets from the point of the clubs birth, to the present day. From their inception in 1960 at the Polo Grounds as the Titans in those old Blue and Gold uniforms, with Slingin' Sammy Baugh as head coach, to the Sanchise and the Rexorcist, Rex Ryan. The dynamic duo that have in just one season, helped shed the initial layer away of that "Same old Jets' tag that has plagued Gang Green and it's rabid followers since Broadway Joe guaranteed it by the Swimming Pool in Miami in 1969.
