I love kitchen appliances, countertop size and full size alike! I obsess over them and work to get then upgrade them. I don't even enjoy cooking, but I love the appliances and gadgets! I love reading reviews, comparing and trying and testing them to find the best. I think it is a quest for the best driving the obsession. I was raised in the 50's-60's with Heloise, in an area where no women worked and all became homemakers, so these were the tools of the trade and very few existed at that time. History has donated so many Jetsonesque contributions that seem to fly out of the time spiral from the 50's to today and I am always waiting to catch the next item flying out at me! I am lusting for a La Cornue range that costs $37,000 and for a Kuhn Rikon garlic press that costs about $20 and can't afford either right now!
