
Out of the box, this reader has stupid DRM issues, but because it's online and because it's extendable with extra memory card via USB, hackers have taken to it - and they just may make it great. The algorithm that imprints your Amazon User ID into the file which allows you to read books has been broken so that Mobi files can be read on the Kindle. That means it's only a matter of time before the algorithm gets better and encompasses more file types. Eventually, any eBook or PDF or RTF collection will be on your Kindle or memory cards and readable on the subway.
