I know a little too much about Joe Strummer (John Mellor), singer/songwriter for The 101's, The Clash, The Latino Rockabilly Kinds, Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros. I've read books, I've bought obscure albums for which I had to convert dollars into pounds. I've gotten into arguments with family and friends over whether or not The 101's were a true proto-punk band. I joined a group on MySpace. It's a sickness.
