My obsession is a passion for creating art works based on the I Ching, the Chinese Book of Changes and the 64 hexagrams prividing guidance in making important life decisions. I am particularly interested in creating works for individuals whose lives are in flux and are looking to choose a proper path to follow. Essentially these are "private art" works done as a personal protrait of a moment in the owners existence. The works can serve as a fulcrum for such decisions or can become an image of reference for contemplation. Wile the I Ching is over 3000 years old and contains many elusive and archaic images, I choose to treat it as an "operators manual for living" and see it as equally functional and spiritual.
