Coheed & Cambria

Coheed & Cambria are a progressive rock band from New York. Originally formed as Shabutie, they have evolved over ten years and five albums to become the rock and roll juggernaut they are today. The band is fronted by Claudio Sanchez, the creative force behind the narrative concept known as "The Amory Wars." Spanning from graphic novel, to comic book series, and now to hardback novel, "The Amory Wars" is the literary companion to Coheed's music. The five albums released (so far) by the band coincide with the written story, and can be enjoyed as its soundtrack, or independently. In 2010, Coheed & Cambria won MTV's first ever Music March Madness, which is decided completely by fan vote. Their live shows are a force to be reckoned with. In 2009, they performed a series of 4-night shows known as "Neverender", wherein they played one album in its entirety each night. The concert was later released on DVD/CD with a documentary. These guys rock harder than any band I've ever heard. They do a lot for their fans...I've met the whole band a few times, even gotten pictures, autographs and concert items! I'm proud to call them my obsession, and I invite any fan of music to do the same! Show Less <
