Modern Warfare 2 sold approximately 4.7 million copies worldwide in 24 hours. It is the sixth in the Call of Duty series of games and the 2nd focusing on Modern Warfare (obviously). Infinity Ward developed it and Activision published this first-person shooter on multiple platforms.
