I positively adore "Broken Saints." It's infected almost every facet of my life - from my tendency to make up quotes and philosophical questions, to my love of Radiohead. It was an animated comic book web series, created independently by Brooke Burgess, Andrew West and Ian Kirby, and its plot revolved around 4 strangers, each from the quiet corners of the globe, who are bought together by a shared message of an impending apocalypse. My introduction to it was when I bought a copy of the Russian film "Night Watch" on DVD, and on the special features, there was a trailer and two episodes of "Broken Saints." This lead me to the original Flash web series, which then lead me to buy the deluxe, revamped DVD boxset of "Broken Saints," which was released in 2006. Four years later, and I'm still obsessed with it? Yep, it's a sickness, alright...
