The type of bee is irrelevant, but the mere fact that someone else in this world likes bees will be enough. Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants. There is nearly 20,000 known types of bees, so go ahead and surprise us all with bee knowledge. They are found on every continent bar Antarctica. They can be divided into nine families and sizes range from 39mm long to about 2.1mm. The most famous bee is the European Honey Bee, or Apis Mellifera.
