Freaking awesome animated Nickelodeon series not to be confused with the movie about blue people!!! It's about a little airbender boy named Aang who learns he is to be the next Avatar (Master of all four elements:Earth, Air, Fire, Water...he basically controls the balance of the world). Aang kind of freaks out about having this responsibility and flees on his flying bison, Appa. While on the run, Aang gets caught in this terrible storm and is frozen in time for a hundred years! Since Aang had dissapeared there wasn't an Avatar to keep the balance and peace of the world. The Fire nation began taking over other nations and conquering the world.
