
About The Anton Schaendl Cello: It's work was completed March 3rd 1897 by the hands of 3rd generation Master Violin Maker Anton Schaendl. Anton was the son of Heinrich Joseph, who followed in his fathers footsteps, the original Master himself, Anton Schaendl who founded the shop in 1753. If you look in the official instrument makers handbook for appraisers, the label they show a photo of is the label inside this cello. It currently reside in the USA, in the state of Colorado. It travels around the world frequently. It's taken into the recording studio frequently. It performs as many as 20 concerts/recitals a year.
