Harper was a versatile big play guy for a small guy in the same way Leon Washington
does his work now for Gang Green. It was also interesting to see #21 Clark Gaines in the footage. Gaines was the bridge at RB between John Riggins and Freeman Mcneil, drafted in 1981. Gaines the league leader in carries in 1979 and led the Jets in receiving and rushing yards that year.
