I'm not sure where or to which category to place this.
Look, I know the GOP is possibly the worst thing that could happen to us.
I also see signs that the GOP does NOT like or care for Sarah Palin. This is something I might agree with the GOP. She would NEVER get the GOP approval to be their candidate.
This is why I believe mid-term elections are most important.
There is very little talk about Sarah running as a third (3rd) party candidate.
With apologies to all and especially Fred; here is a scenario....
As THIRD (3rd) Party or TEA PARTY candidate
Palin would get 130 Electoral Votes, (AL,AK,FL,GA,KY,LA,MS,SC,TN,TX)
Obama would get 214,(CA,CT,DE,HI,IL,ME,MD,MA,MI,NH,NJ,NY,ND,OR,RI,WA,wDC)
GOP would get 194. ... NEEDED TO WIN 270?
Without 270 Electoral Votes the HOUSE would get to decide
with each representative getting one vote and then each STATE
having ONE vote based on representative votes ....
In this scenario, Palin gets 137 representative votes BUT 20 STATES,
(AL,AK,AZ,CO,FL,IA,KY,LA,MN,MS,NV,NM,NC,OK,SC,TN,TX,VA,WV,WY)
Obama gets 157 representative votes but only 18 STATES,
the GOP gets 141 representative votes but only 12 STATES.

Could Palin win??
